Royal Concertinas

This will take place on Tuesday 4th December at The Royal Hotel,Dungworth,Sheffield(see attached map).We will be meeting early at 7.00pm to partake in a Christmas meal which is great value at about £14 for five courses.We would like to see old friends and newcomers.We play a very varied repertoire of tunes by ear and from music and take time to encourage players who have only recently taken up the concertina.Neil Wayne regularly attends and always bringing a fascinating collection of concertinas and memorabilia.Many of the Royal Concertinas regulars are top quality repairers and restorers of concertinas as well as being fine players.We can often assist in carrying out running repairs and locating instruments.Some of the worlds greatest concertina players have been our guests over the years and I am negotiating for a well known professional player to be our guest on the 4th December.
