david robertson Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Looks like a lovely instrument, but is it kosher? A new seller, minimal information, just the one picture... I've asked for more pictures, but I wondered if anyone recognised it?
juhu Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 I asked if it was okay to collect it if won. No reply yet , suspicious ???
Christian Husmann Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Looks like a lovely instrument, but is it kosher?A new seller, minimal information, just the one picture... I've asked for more pictures, but I wondered if anyone recognised it? Hm, well, the description says it is in a "fair condition". If you look at the top row there are already two buttons that stick out (and in) in an unfair way if you actually want to play that instrument. And that is only one side of that machine... Christian
juhu Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 I see on the listing it actually says "pick up only", i didn't notice that before. I guess if you can pick it up , it may well be for real. As long as the address checks out and you pay for it when you see it.
Leo Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Did anybody catch: "Original owners name inscribed T.W.Newell". Does that mean anything Thanks Leo
juhu Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Still no reply to more questions, so i don't think i'd touch it with a long stick! Seems a few suspicious concertina listings rearing there ugly heads lately. I guess the recent £5000. sellers have got the con men thinking.
juhu Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Heard back today. fine to visit and view. So he must be kosher after all.
