Jody Kruskal Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 September is almost over and I still don’t have a Tune of the Month offering to announce. Sorry. Instead, I’ve been recovering from my England tour and putting together a new web site page called Player Profiles. In my travels, I’ve met some amazing concertina players. On the Player Profiles page I’ve featured four of them with photos, brief bios with links and mp3s of their solo concertina music. This is hardly an exhaustive list of the great players I’ve heard along the way. There are many more that I didn’t get the chance to sit down with, meet and record. These are all quite modest musicians. Most of them have not recorded much. They are my friends and I love listening to the recordings I made when I was visiting with them. They were all kind enough to agree to let me post these up on my site. I’m doing it because I thought you might enjoy hearing some amazing harmonic playing from the boxes of: John Hazlehurst - unique modified C/G/D Anglo Dave Prebble - Anglo Rachel Hall - English David Cornell - MacCann Duet Enjoy!
Animaterra Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Thanks for doing this. Jody! I had fun re-living Arnold the Armadillo and will look forward to perusing the others on this page.
