Stagi Hayden Duet For Sale

I just put my Stagi/Hayden up for consignment at the Button Box. It's hardly been out of the box for the past year or so while concentrated on my Lachenal English. The Button Box folks have checked it out and declared it slightly used and are selling it for $750 (they are selling the new ones for $895). Here is the entry from their site:

 

Hayden duet. 46 buttons (21 on left, 25 on right), mahogany ends, plastic buttons, 10-fold bellows. Range: left c-b1, right c1-d3. 7 1/2" across. With case. Slightly Used

This is a good deal, and a chance for someone to see what the Hayden is like.

Back in 2004, I paid Button Box about the same amount for a slightly used same make and model Duet. It was just nicely broken in (bellows supple), no wear, no scratches.

 

Mine is not likely to be on the market for quite a while yet

 

BTW, the Stagi Hayden uses the "new" Stagi button action with guide holes in the action board, no funky rubber tubing involved. And I do liek the sound of mine.
