The 613 is simultaneous users - is it guests and members though (?) - surely it must be both, 613 out of 2416 members on line would be improbable though not impossible. Even with both members and "guests", 613 simultaneous users seems awfully high to me. Seems to me we had something like this once before, and it turned out to be a software bug (like the software not noticing when people disconnected? I forget). Since I've just seen a couple of posts about database glitches, I wonder if that could be the real reason for the high number.
Leo
I suspect it also counts Google Bots, and Slurp Spiders and shows them as guests Thanks Leo Edited June 22, 2007 by Leo

I don't "log out" of the forum, but disconnec (kill the browser page, hang up the modem, turn off my PC). So I'm still "logged in" the next time I come back a day later. Maybe I am counted as being logged in all that time? Nothing to worry about, jsut a reminder to know how to interpret statistics.
