Paul Read Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Here's a nice Jeffries. I think the seller wasn't sure what he had. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/vintage-concertina-s...1QQcmdZViewItem

Paul Read Posted June 20, 2007 Author Posted June 20, 2007 (edited) It went for just over GBP4k - to Chris Algar. Looks like a bargain these days Much better than the kit one that went for 4.5k Edited June 20, 2007 by Paul Read
scott fineran Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 It was interesting to see a Jeffries that didn't go to old mate Busmic. Does anyone know if he is a dealer or just a well cashed up collector absorbing as many concertinas as possible. I see he also bought a tedrow lately. There are only so many instruments that one person can play. Scott
McIsog Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 At 4-5K UKP he is one of 3 things - a dealer; an investor; or government sponsored acquiring the instruments under the guise of a cultural development grant. I'm guessing 1 & 2.
