Just found this great site and eagerly signed on! Bought my 1915 Wheatstone 48 back in 1982 in Glasgow (£100). Now in my 70th year, I continue to get a lot of pleasure from it - mostly accompanied by my wife on keyboard or guitar, but occasionally in sessions with friends. One neighbor plays oboe, and we do klezmer and classical duets together!

By way of introduction, go to my website at http://www.theweemadroad.com. You can see and hear our good friend Wendy Stewart on clarseach, and also a bit of her playing English concertina while our favorite bit of Scotland goes by. My forum name, yankeeclipper, derives from my nationality, American, and the years I spent in the Highlands clipping sheep with blade shears. ;)

Wow, the music and film go really well together; great sunset!

Welcome to the Forum.

Peter.

Very nice and welcome.

Yes I agree. When you get to our age, "Boredom is not an option".
