Jim Besser
So who's going this year? I'll be there playing for crazy rapper dancers and prowling for good jams, especially with concertina-tolerant old time players. Do we need to try to arrange a c.net get-together there? David Barnert
I'll be there, but probably not for more than a few hours Saturday. I'm playing for Pokingbrook Morris at 3:00 and, like Jim, will probably do more jamming than workshopping the rest of the day. I'll need to leave shortly after the gig, but would be happy to meet up with other cyber-buddies earlier.
Chris Timson
Have a good time. I loved NEFFA the one time we went, and were I that side of the Atlantic we'd be there every year. But please get a bar in. Folk music without beer is the crime against the Holy Spirit! Chris

But you're right, it would be a LOT better with a few pubs handy.
Animaterra
Even fewer pubs than usual in its new location: http://www.neffa.org/getting_there.html I'll be there Sunday- my daughter wants to go to Accepted Students Day at Hampshire College in western Mass. on Saturday, for some reason!! Mark Evans
Well, I thought I might go this year to meet up with a c.netter and jam. Saturday looks like the choice. Jim, we were to meet last year as I remember and I would like to finally meet up with you David.

Iridescent, almost. I'll be easy to spot as well, as round as I am tall, waistcoat, turquoise watch fob, beard like Santa and an oversize 8-piece cap. Hope this new venue is a good one. Richard Morse
The Button Box will be there all weekend as usual, set up in the crafts room with the concertinas and stuff. Turns out that I'll be there only on Sunday - looks like I'll miss most of you guys! Those of you staying for Sunday - please stop by for some tunes and check out our latest! -- Rich --

Alison, I'm sorry I'll miss you, but congradulations are in order for your daughter. Hampshire College is great and very picky about who is extended the honor of being an accepted student. What a fantastic learning environemnt. Were I an 18 year old again, that's were I would go and find a way to get in! Sorry about straying off topic folks... David Barnert
I'll try to get there Saturday as soon after 10:00 as I can. You can see a picture of me (10 years ago) by clicking my name (just bleach the hair). I'm sending my cell phone number privately to Mark and Jim for contact by voice or text. I'll have to leave right around 4:00, at the end of my Morris gig.
Animaterra
OK, so I got it all wrong- I WILL be there on Saturday- that's the day Animaterra (the chorus) is scheduled to sing at 1:00 pm. I'm going to miss the Accepted Students' Day, but I'll get my NEFFA kicks in and I hope I'll see you lot as well!
David Barnert
Looking through the grid for Saturday, I see that Jim is performing at 11:00, Allison is performing at 1, and I am at 3. Should we try to meet at 2 at High School Room 125, where Allison's performance will have just ended? Also, can anybody shed light on what to expect at Doug Creighton's "Concertinas in Action" (listed as a presentation)? It's at 11 at the High School Crafts Hall. Edited to add: I'll ask Doug next week at the workshop if no answer appears here. Edited April 7, 2007 by David Barnert
