David Barnert Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 (edited) Here it is in C, in "abc" format: X:1 T:Lili Marlene M:4/4 L:1/8 K:C E>E E>F G2 E2 | F>F F>c B4 | D>D D>E F2 F>G | B>A G>F E3 C | A2 B>c B2 A2 | A2 G2 B3 A | G2 F2 A3 G | F2 E2 G3 E | G3 F F2 d2 | c4 G2 E2 | G3 F F2 B,2 | C6 E2 | G3 F F2 B,2 | C6 |] Copy everything between the blank lines above and paste it into the window at the concertina.net "Tune-O-Tron" Tunes Convertor at: http://www.concertina.net/tunes_convert.html Hit "Submit" and see the music in GIF format on screen. Hit "MIDI" and hear it, hit "PDF" and get a graphic file of the music notation suitable for high resolution printing. Chris Timson Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 It'll sound good on a Stagi. Anne and I have been doing this song for years - her singing and me accompanying. I always use the Herrington if I can, because the accordion reed sound gets the atmosphere and period of the tune better. Chris
Stephen Mills Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 Here is another option for you, which I downloaded in Tabledit (.tef) format and printed in .pdf from http://www.consult-eco.ndirect.co.uk/guitar/tab.htm As noted on the printout, this was transcribed by a guitarist named Steve McWilliams. The van Basco midi search site at: http://www.vanbasco.com/search.html lists almost 20 versions. If you clicked on some of these and found a version you liked better, I could print it in notation for you, assuming it was not protected from downloading.
JoachimDelp Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 I always wonder why nobody of the big players here offers a recording of his playing to the newbie. Iam ready to offer you my performance, which might help you to play it soon better than me. ¡Always hjomepages anmd Tune-O-Trone, no human touche ! Grum, ble !! Kind regards Jochim Delp
