JimLucas
That guy with an Anglo, he's known for jazzyfying the Irish music, if I'm not mistaken. Hardly the only one, and far from the first. Now, on a side note, why is it that PA players always dabble as Piano players? In my experience, it's more often the other way around: Piano players take up PA as a "side" instrument, but a far smaller percentage of those who start with PA later add the piano (or other long horizontal keyboard). I'd be more impressed, if that man played a fiddle, and a fiddle player dabbled on PA, no? Or Concertina player as drummer. ... My friend Amy is a violinist who also plays fiddle and piano, has dabbled with my English concertina, and more recently has been teaching herself PA. ... My friend Yirdy is a champion bones player, a top-notch bodhran player, and a fine singer, who also plays a few tunes on each of the melodeon and anglo concertina. (These are only a few of his many talents.) But they're not doing that to impress you.
m3838
... My friend Amy is a violinist who also plays fiddle ... Hmm. Knowing how different the fiddle is from violin, I can't believe it. And your last remark, about them not doing it to impress me... Is such thing possible? You were probably joking. Why else people would do anything at all? dpmccabe
Nice! Interesting to see that Niall has a plaster on the Jeffries fretwork, to cover the sharp bit that cuts my little finger. Excuse my ignorance; who is the vocalist? Regards, Peter. Karen Casey, Niall's wife and founding member of Solas

Daniel Hersh
Three of my favorite musicians there--it's great to hear them together. And how about this one?A PA, Melodeon (?) and an Anglo playing (living) together in peace!

The cute factor is off the chart! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQPEsa5e7K0...ated&search I guess it'll be hard for the boy not to pursue the squeezebox. What if he'll decide to learn a ... piano?!? Imagine the uproar. There was something strange in seen a 4 year old acting like an adult, seems like his body language and coordination is far beyond the usual. Thanks Leo Well Leo, I don't play Irish music, so I'm "muddling along" in the longer clip. My special hat is for outdoor, winter, use only. As you'll see from the video clip, I still have some hair left! Regards, Peter.
Gavin Atkin
Two more vids for your entertainment... I should warn you all I'm thinking of taking the original ones down as interest in them has tailed off, and I'm trying to rotate the world's unused magnetic fields... ;-) Gav Now I want the music fo rthe Bouree and Etudio. Is it Anglo you're playing? Awesome! and the assortment of videos that comes with it is eye-opening. Esp. that French guy playing Bouree on electric guitar. Man, what a musician! As far as guitars go, I like Michael Fix performance. Stunning. Your playing is excellent. Which means you have solved the discussion whether or not Classical music is playable on the Anglo. (next we need a discussion whether or not it is playable on diatonic harmonica).
