Marcus
Anyone have an ABC file for Patsy Toohey's jig? I've been searching the web and appear to have come up blank!
mthatcher61
[The Session has lots of Patsy Touhey's Reels and plenty of Patsy Geary's Jigs in ABC but no Patsy Touhey's Jigs (or Patsy Geary's Reel's for that matter).
Leo
Marcus A lead Mark came up with another spelling. I found something under Toohey. It's a long shot but might be worth pursuing. In 1977 an album was made with that tune. It's listed as track number six here: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=e...3D%26safe%3Doff The album is called "The 4th Irish Folk Festival: On The Road". Noel Hill played in the album: http://www.noelhill.com/discography.html It might be slim chance to email him and ask if he has it available possibly in one of his course books from his concertina school. Or it could be one of these abcs: http://www.irishtune.info/album/PT/ Worth a look in any event. I hope it leads somewhere. Thanks Leo Edited November 15, 2006 by Leo
Marcus
I beleive the Jig I'm looking for is the same one that John Williams plays at the beginning of his DVD tutor. I may try to email Noel and see if he can point me in the right direction.

John Wild
I think it just might be. I want to thank you. You're welcome. Have you noticed a lot of the lines end in the word 'feed' ? Maybe the composer was hungry? - John
