David Levine Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 I had a unpleasant encounter with Steve about two years ago. However, that's in the past and I hope it stays there. I was sorry to hear of his current problems with numbness and I wish him all the best. I heard Mick Kinsella (Josie Marsh's husband) play the harmonica a few weeks ago and I was struck by how lovely an instrument it can be. Good luck, Steve. Be well.
s2maur Posted June 15, 2006 Posted June 15, 2006 (edited) I had a unpleasant encounter with Steve about two years ago. Be well. Unpleasantness is the cause of two very strong willed and stubborn people listening to only themselves when negotiating business. It is in the past. Thanks for the words of concern and I will do my best to deal with this. I am doing therapy and finally listening to my doctor's orders of what not to do. No more heavy landscaping work, no more snow removal with a shovel and above all, no more car accidents. I will always stay with the harmonica. I have heard it in more and more celtic music in the last few years and the upside is that it is much, much less expensive than a concertina, is still a free reeded instrument with my lungs as the bellows and it doesn't require any special environment to keep it from from becoming damaged. I can even clean it with water. Best to you too David. Steve Edited June 15, 2006 by s2maur
