Aoghan Lynch Workshops In Alsace This Weekend

Hard to believe, but there are still spaces free for workshops with Irish concertina crack Aoghan Lynch at this year's Rhine Valley Irish Association Feis Ceol in Mollkirch (Alsace), during the coming weekend, 2-5 June 2006.

 

A former REI "Young Musician of the Year", Aoghan's fast, joyful and highly musical play is quite a contrast to the sometimes rather laboured traditional styles.

Not there this year folks! Doesn't seem to be any concertina workshop there this year actually. Tina numbers were always pretty low for some reason.

 

Great weekend though, lots of other instruments catered for, and the guys who run it are dead sound. Lovely location as well. Go along some time if you can.
