Dad once told me to give at-a-boys when they are deserved. I’ve seen here other dealers, sellers brought up and recommended. Just want to throw my 2-bitts in. There is a c.net member I dealt with and recommend Theo Gibbs of the Box Place. I bought my second concertina from him a Lachenal, 22 button. He was a pleasure to deal with and real help full. I started to want a 30 button, after missing last minute bids on ebay on a couple more boxes, I clicked on Theo’s page and there he had again what I was looking for a about the same price that I was bidding on ebay. Even after my box taking twice as long as the first, me emailing Theo wearing him out he answered all of my emails encouraging me it on his way. In the mean time I had a reed go bad on the 22 button go flat, he said send him the reed he would replace it. A stand up guy in my book. Thanks Theo.

I also purchased my first 30-button anglo, a Lachenal, from Theo. We met up at Whitney Festival where I purchased it. I also found Theo friendly and helpfull, so credit where its due.

Although I now play a Wakker Phoenix, I still have, and occasionally play, the Lachenal.
