christianmayne Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I've an entry level 30 Key Honer Sutherland anglo that's surplus to requirements. It's like this one: http://www.eaglemusicshop.com/images/LgIns...s/ho30anglo.jpg It retails at about £299 I've moved up a level concertinawise and I'd quite like to have a bash with an English Concertina, so I wondered if anyone had an entry level English they'd like to trade cashlessly for my entry level Anglo. It's in pretty good condition, is about 18 months old and hasn't had huge amounts of use. I'm based in Cambride UK, but travel around a fair bit if anyone's interested. Cheers Christian
Pete Dickey Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Hi Christian About time you brought yourself and that Anglo of yours up to Royal Concertinas or better still up to the Bradfield Traditional Music Weekend on the 2nd weekend in August. Keep practicing Regards Pete
Dirge Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 (Sorry, couldn't resist it) There's no point in his practicing; he wants to move to English.

Cheers Christian Christian I'm interested in a trade. I've been looking unsucessfully for an entry level anglo. Yesterday I ordered an anglo Concertina from Frank Edgley but until it arrives (six months) I have nothing to practice with and would enjoy an entry level anglo. To trade I have a Wim Wakker "Jack", English Baritone (lots of pictures and audio at Concertina Conection www.concertinaconnection.com/ jackie%20model%20english.htm ) that is about seven or eight months old. I still have the case (bag) and everything functions well. I live in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, which I suspect may be outside your normal travel. I'm sure we could agree to some sort of shipping. Thom
