I wonder why it didn't sell? Isn't $1,099 for a Morse a good price?

One of the reasons may be that it was due to close before most people on the east coast (of the US) were awake/up and far before those further westward. Most action happens at the last few moments. It may also have been that not a lot of people were aware of it. Our shop keeps track of things on eBay but seems to have overlooked this one. I didn't know of it until you posted about it only a day before it ended.

 

While I wasn't at "work" to figure out the history behind #200, it certainly looked like a genuine offering and I was prepared to go the $1099 they were asking for it as we could have easily put our standard markup on it and sold it as a used instrument for comfortably less than our new list price - and within minutes as we have such a backlog of customers. But I missed it....

 

As it closed without a buyer we *did* check into it but the seller said that within moments of the auction close he got an e-mail from someone offering him $1000 and he took it. It's gone - to some very happy camper!

I was going to give $1100, but couldn't log in. The damn Mozilla can't figure out my login. It sends me my password, that doesn't work. Man, I was so close.

Now since it hurts so much, you gotta offer me some relief.

No relief in sight, I'm afraid. And to make matters worse - last week we had a used Morse C/G in and it sold in just a couple of days... for $1400. Man, that eBay one was a GOOD price!

I should check my login, jsust in case another G/D will show up and everybody will miss it, and the price will be right, and I'll have spare change.

On the other hand I got this Club for half the usual price, and it's in pretty good condition.

And I'm not in Africa, digging yams under bulletts.
