Well in my experience, the accidentals on the chromatic row are usually fairly close to the regular note on the C row. For a better look at the various layouts, I suggest you check out Jergen Suttner's Concertina pages. He includes layouts for the Jefferies and Wheatstone/Lachenal layouts that include where the notes appear on the musical staff. -- Bill

JimLucas Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 how do i find his pages? i google Jergen Suttner's and came u with nothing. ive also searched this site maybe i not doing it right. His first name is spelled "Juergen" or "Jürgen". But here's the link.
Chris Timson Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 (edited) that's because Jurgen's first name is spelt with a u ... Here is his web site: www.suttnerconcertinas.com. I got it from that compendium of concertina knowledge (blowing my own trumpet, I know) the Concertina FAQ. Chris Edited to add PS: I see Jim was busy replying at the same time. It must be right, then. Edited March 29, 2006 by Chris Timson
