Visiting My Marcus

Dear Group,

I ordered a new D/G concertina from Marcus a couple of weeks ago. Today, I decided to pop over and visit, with a midn to seeing my new concertina.

 

So far, both ends have been built although the reeds and the action haven't been fitted. The workmanship is stunning. I just wish that I could have a job where you can create such wonderful things.

Delivery is expected in three weeks........and I'm trembling with anticipation.

I checked out your website "Songs and Tunes for the Young Musician," and was delighted to discover the music for several tunes, which I copied, including the Skye Boat Song, the Gloustershire Wassail, Pleasant and Delightful, and Calon Lan. I highly recommend your site to anyone who is just getting started.
