Daniel Hersh Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 I'm thinking vaguely of buying an old German concertina with a damaged bellows. Since it's a German concertina, I would think that the bellows aren't worth replacing. So can they be fixed? Here's a picture, if I've successfully managed to insert it: The big hole is described as 3/4'' long and about 1/2'' wide. Also note the electrical-tape repairs. I realize that I ought to check Dave Elliott's book, but I don't have a copy yet! Daniel
d.elliott Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Errrr, No. at least not economically, judging from the picture.
Daniel Hersh Posted February 17, 2006 Author Posted February 17, 2006 Thanks! I had already decided to pass this concertina up since no one had given me a positive response. But someone decided to spend $150 for it. Daniel Errrr, No. at least not economically, judging from the picture.
