Sharron Posted November 7, 2003 Posted November 7, 2003 I am looking for a C/G 30 buttons or thereabouts Anglo. Preferably by one of the *makers* and must be in reasonably good condition. A Suttner, Dipper, etc. would be very acceptable I want it for playing Irish music in a session. I have sold mine. So as from this Sunday I shall be concertinaless On the other hand I don't mind placing an order for a new one as long as I have something decent to play on until it is ready. So let me know again if you have anything suitable. Sharron
JimLucas Posted November 7, 2003 Posted November 7, 2003 Sold the one you had without lining up a new one? Foolish girl! You're the concertina equivalent of homeless. What about a new Albion (Button Box' brand, but I think The Music Room has 'em) or Geuns-Wakker, or one of the other modern brands without a massive waiting list? They're good instruments. Or were you hoping for a free loan? I couldn't do that. Your husband might misinterpret the gesture!
Sharron Posted November 7, 2003 Author Posted November 7, 2003 Ha ha Jim Homeless, yep that'll be me tomorrow. The guy has just asked me to deliver a day early instead. I bought a Morse and was offered what I had paid for it. Well I knew I was going to upgrade sooner or later. It just happened sooner than anticipated. I do have a couple of *irons in the fire* though. But as I am in need of one I thought I would check if there was anything else out there. Sharron
Sharron Posted November 8, 2003 Author Posted November 8, 2003 I am giving myself this week to make a decision, so please carry on checking your music cases/cabinets for anything you may not have a use for. I can't go longer than a week Sharron
