martyn Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 I have a very unusual metal ended anglo which I am trying to post pictures of. Could somebody be kind enough to give me step by step instructions on how to do this ? As I am having a bit of trouble, e.g. maximum file size: 120k. How do I reduce the file size if it is larger than this? Thanks for your help, Martyn.
David Barnert Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 You need to manipulate it in some sort of graphics program. Chances are it is higher resolution than you need. For on-screen viewing, higher than 72 dpi is wasted. In PhotoShop or any other photo processing program, simply reduce the resolution. In a drawing program, you might have to crop it but keep the resolution or display it on your screen at a reduced size and then take a "screen shot" and then crop that in the drawing program. For more specific advice (if you're still having trouble), tell us what kind of computer (Mac, PC, etc.) and graphics software you have. If it's not a Mac, I won't be any more help.
