meander
I'm an accordian player who is interested in branching over to the concertina. I'm partial to the English, and don't want to spend more than about $500, and the choices seem to be limited to the Jackie (Chinese), no-name product on the internet (also chinese), and the stagi 30. Anyone have any feedback on the sound and overall quality of any of these? or if anyone has any feedback on the Stagi duet, I'd like to hear it. thanks
David Barnert
My comments about the Stagi Duet (Hayden) are posted elswhere on this site: http://www.concertina.net/kc_hayden.html (about 1/3 of the way down the page)
JimLucas
There was another thread on the same topic recently, though the questioner was trying to decide between the Jackie and the Stagi miniature. Try doing a site search for "Jackie". But I'll answer that I would definitely recommend the Jackie over the others, on the grounds of quality control, if nothing else.
