pitouret Posted January 7, 2006 Share Posted January 7, 2006 I have a Wheatstone concertina and would appreciate any help in identifying exactly what type of concertina it is. It has 68 keys, 8 folds to the bellows and a manufacturer's number 25308. It has octagonal filigree metal faces. It measures 25cm (11")between opposite faces. Alex West Posted January 7, 2006 Share Posted January 7, 2006 According to the Horniman Ledgers, it's an 8 sided 67 key Duet (were they all McCanntype fingering?) of type 39 - the best quality - made in 1911.
