ClaireW Posted April 6 Posted April 6 This model is the top of the Lachenal range. Raised ends, 12 sided to get as close as possible to the optimum circle, 6 fold bellows (in excellent condition). Serial # 39274 which makes it manufactured around 1900 (exact dating is not possible as Wheatstone destroyed the records when they bought the company in 1936) Serviced and tuned by Dave Elliot in 2016. Normal signs of use. Great sound, fast speaking and a light key action. Tuned to A=440hz The extended treble, 56 keys, gives all the fast response of the much prized 48 key treble instrument as it’s in the same box size. The extra 8 high notes are valuable for adding colour to chords and for accents. The lowest G# is tuned to F to give more low note chord options. It's coming with a Gig-Bag and a waterproof Travel-Case. Located in Scotland. Shipping possible within the UK and internationally. Price: £3.200 (open to reasonable offers) 2
