Eric Lerner Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Susan Conger’s reel “The Gale” has long been popular in our local music-for-contra-dance jam, but I’ve been stymied trying to play it on a G/D Anglo concertina. I’ve just acquired this new-to-me Edgley Heritage C/G Anglo (from a posting on concertina.net – thanks Parker!), and it has the bellows capacity and reed sensitivity to finally let me play the tune properly. So, here’s the first recording with my new box. The notes & ABC for not quite the same version I play are online at The Session -- https://thesession.org/tunes/1033 3
