Ryan Callahan Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Hi All, I am an advanced B/C accordion player and moderately experienced repair man, and have to admit I have fallen in love with the sound of the concertina. I've tried my friends instruments a few times and picked it up somewhat quickly because of how similar the layout is to a diatonic accordion, so I'd like to expand to to getting an instrument of my own. After some research, I found that the Rochelle model from Concertina Connection is the best sounding instrument of the beginner categories and would maybe fit in my pretty tight budget of hopefully under $300, but could go up to $400. I do know that I definitely want a 30b model, but am open to other suggestions for beginner models that are on the cheaper end; I am located in the U.S. if that helps. If anyone has a used instrument that they learned on and they're upgrading to a better model and could give a discount, I am open to anything you're willing to throw at me. Thanks, Ryan C.
