Composite button repair

I was asked to replace a button on this Aeola. It had completely shattered around the lever hole. I found a nice old piece of beech dowel and took a lot of measurements from a good button. I was lucky for once, and managed the full task without any problem. The owner asked that the mid section be fatter than standard, which explains the slightly unusual look. I am very pleased with the result.
