SIMON GABRIELOW Posted March 21 Posted March 21 The White Rose is a wild Rose that grows in hedgerows, and is much smaller than cultivated varieties; it is small, with lobed white petals, and yellow stamens. It is also a symbol of Yorkshire [ England] - and historically too [Wars of the roses ! House of York! etc..] . So, this innocent looking Rose has [ symbolically] a lot attached to its delicate natural appearance. [the ' Rose' in my image used here was growing amongst bushes up a secluded Yorkshire hill] Waltz tune is a celebratory tune [ nohing to do with Rose wars of any kind - I hope - if people waltzed a bit more; maybe there would be less confllct past, or present].
