Folks need to be forgiven for making a typing mistake. The “e” is next door to the “w”. Most of us know what they are talking about even if they misspelled it.

I was watching this great video, and at 45:47 I saw a fine young English player from Michigan.

I wonder if there are any other "First Nations" concertina players out there, it was a first for me.

As for mispellings(😊)..I have made many.. but come to think of it.. why was the name CONCERTINA chosen for the instrument at the beginning? ( When it was first invented or developed)?

The video is not available in Canada.

Also not in Australia.

Appears to be restricted to U.S. audiences. I will refrain from making snide remarks about why anyone would bother to restrict access to that video to local audiences, but I can't resist to attach what I get when I try to watch the video via a U.S. based VPN server. Sometimes the internet is involuntarily funny.

Of course I forgive Jody! Believe me I am also notorious for typos. And I know Jody for decades. The silly smiling face is the international sign for joking.

As for the restricting videos to certain countries, I wonder if there is a default setting on YouTube videos that can be changed to universal?

Jim, you are correct, that is Finnish.😁

I noticed my typo right away but left it in to give you all something fun to talk about.

For those of us who can watch the film, the piece played by the concertina, "under the shore birches", is one of the nicest in the whole movie.
