I’m on a 30 anglo (i did not know there were concertinas with more keys - i’m a passionate newbie but ignorant) i’m going to have a ton of fun thanks to you!

if i had all the time and money in the world i would buy a bandoneon on top of my anglo - buttime is rare and money even more lol

He has more than 30 buttons. These don't give you very many more notes than the standard 30 button but they do offer more options for "reversals", where the same note can be played in the other direction (on a different button).  Using reversals means you don't have to change direction so much, and is another way to manage air supply without needing to use the air button. The 30 button has lots of reversals, but having more gives you more fingering options.

Looking at it more closely, he is making a lot of bellows changes but they're very small. In part that's due to having a responsive instrument, but it's also due to control and economy of effort. Good technique, in other words.

it’s quite amazing - as a beginner I cant even imagine moving that little! and yes his instrument must be good! (he is a pro that is logical)
