Jillser Nic Amhlaoibh Posted March 13 Posted March 13 I had an Edgley Heritage for about 4 years, bought from a member here and I found it to be fast and easy playing and as such it helped me become a better player. I recently sold mine (locally so I wouldn't have to faff around with packing it for shipping) because I finally managed to get my hands on a Carroll. If no one had been interested in it I'd have happily hung on to it as a back up but financially it made more sense to sell plus I already have a 28 button Jeffries in the house as well. Best of luck with the sale Parker 135! 1

Best of luck with the sale Parker 135! Thank you! The concertina has sold now. I was in much the same situation....it would have been a great backup, or just an alternate primary without relegating it to backup status, but financially it didn't make sense to have it here not being played like it was. I certainly enjoyed owning it and playing it pretty much every day for a couple of years. I also really appreciated getting to know Frank Edgley along the way. A real gentleman. 1
Parker135 Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 I have sold the concertina now and donated to the site accordingly. Thanks, everyone, for your interest. Parker 4
Eric Lerner Posted March 31 Posted March 31 I bought this instrument from Parker two weeks ago. I don't know if the reeds are technically traditional or not, but I do know it's a lovely instrument with reeds that are more instantly sensitive than any I've ever played. I've posted a first recording with it here -- https://www.concertina.net/forums/index.php?/topic/30060-the-gale-reel/ 2
