I’ve been wrestling with an annoying series of maintenance issues in both concertinas and electronics that have kept me from recording anything new recently.  So here’s a recording I made a few years ago of a tune I found in Ryan’s Mammoth Collection much longer ago.  Played on my 40-button Crabb G/D Anglo concertina.  Dots & ABC are on The Session  https://thesession.org/tunes/5678

Google tells me Frank Edgley used this as the title tune on a CD he released back in 2013, but I haven’t been able to find that recording anywhere online, and thus I haven’t heard it either.  I can find just one recording of it on Youtube, by fiddler Mick Conneely, hidden in search results among countless recordings of an altogether different hymn with the same title.
