Looking to level up!

Hello everyone! Happy New Year! My name is Anne and I’m from Oregon. I’ve been playing an old Rochelle for a couple years now, and I’m looking to move up to an intermediate level Anglo in C/G. I’ve got a budget of about $2000, and I’d like to stick with 30 buttons (as opposed to 26) as I am rather fond of that low Bb. Anyone looking to sell just such an instrument? Or know someone who might be?

Did you buy your Rochelle from Concertina Connection? If so they have a trade up offer to upgrade to the Minstrel.

Hi JimR, thanks for your reply. I did not; I bought it second-hand from someone on this forum. However, I did just talk with someone at CC today, and it turns out they offer a flat $200 for a Rochelle trade-in that was purchased privately. Which is better than nothing! Unfortunately, a new Minstrel has a 20-week waiting period, and I was really hoping to not have to wait so long  I might end up going that route anyway, but I thought I’d exhaust some other possibilities first. Thank you for your thoughts!
