Too bad you’re so far away…..you could get a good one from Concertina Connection on this side of the big pond.

If you want one, you have to put your name and a down payment on a waiting list. They will contact you when they begin yours and when they ship it to you. This is a great exercise in developing patience but it’s well worth the wait! I went across the border to smuggle mine in. It was among the few most exciting projects I did last spring. I have been playing mine every day since last May (including Christmas Day). Good luck!

I got my Peacock from Concertina Connection - took 5 mos to build and deliver - but very happy with it.  I had purchased a Stagi, which also took 5 mos - not bad, but I wanted a higher quality instrument.  The Stagi, which was under $1000 less than 1 year ago, is now being offered by Liberty Bellows in Philadelphia for $2000.  But apparently they are available.

Wanted Hayden Duet Concertina. Any make is fine. Ready to buy now.

Hi Steve, when making such posts, can you please disclose that you're a dealer, I think it's best just to make sure people understand this.

Thanks.

Ralf,

I had a look at the "Kleinanzeige" in question. Most peculiar! The photo is definitely of a Stagi Hayden, but the technical description ("Technische Daten") is for a 20-button C/G Anglo.

Maybe the seller has two concertinas to sell, and got the features mixed up?

Cheers,

John
