This is my first Christmas with my Concertina Connection Hayden duet . I learned this from the singing of Larry Sparks, a long time bluegrass guitarist.

What app did you use to make this video? Acapella?

I used iMovie on my iPad.

I don’t see any earbuds. How did you keep it synchronized?

In iMovie, you can slide one video back and forth until it lines up with the other one.

But do you just have to trust that you’re playing at the exact same tempo on both sides?

Yes, you do. I practice with a metronome. I guess the beat becomes embedded after awhile. It doesn’t always work….just during one of my occasional lucid moments……or do we have an “internal” metronome?

But don’t be afraid to use earbuds or headphones to listen to one track while recording the other (or listen to a click track when recording both).
