Josh in Hartford Posted December 3 Posted December 3 I did this with a simple one-track looper pedal, kind of as a proof of concept. I'd like to take a little time to mic up the concertina, run it through some effects, and do the whole thing on the five-track looper for more layers and weirdness. Stay tuned. 3

I'll look forward to seeing where you go with that. I do love tradition, but I'm also a sucker for new experiences. Bring on the weirdness. Maybe you've already got your own plan/gear, but I'll vouch for the Zorg Effects Blow!Blow!!Blow!!! (what a name) as a convenient way to pipe a couple mics through an effects loop. My one complaint is the push button switches - it's hard to tell what position they're in. Other than that, it's great. I'm not aware of another option that's as convenient and capable.

I have an RC-505 Loop Station, which is quite capable and has some decent onboard effects and multiple inputs, plus some weirder pedals I can add to the mix. Stay tuned! 1
Josh in Hartford Posted Saturday at 09:09 PM Posted Saturday at 09:09 PM Here is something slightly more elaborated. No effects yet, but I made the beat with a drum machine (with some added real percussion) and used a proper mic on the concertina instead of the phone mic. https://youtu.be/sQt2HmNSWUU 1
