Leah Velleman Posted November 21 Posted November 21 This seems like a bizarre long shot, but do we know of any (non-Bandoneon) concertina players in Uruguay? There's a chance I'll be moving there soon and it would be nice to find a like-minded soul...
David Barnert Posted November 21 Posted November 21 I travel a fair amount, and bring my concertina if I think there’s a chance I’ll find people to play with. I’ve been to Uruguay three times. Great food, lovely beaches. It never occurred to me to even think of bringing my concertina there. But good luck. There’s much to enjoy there, and if you don’t find a concertina player, you’ll undoubtedly find other musicians you might be able to jam with.

Found this old posting of Anglo concertina in Uruguay https://www.concertina.net/forums/index.php?/topic/21322-26-buttons-oncertina/#comment-197823 :
