Midi English concertina, 48 button, made by Roy Whiteley of Cheshire in 2005.    Only concertina of its type at the time.

Adapted from Lachenal English concertina 20906, Roy's serial no is no 5.

Plays via 9v battery and 3.5mm jack headphones (battery and headphones not supplied)

Over 40 different voices including string ensemble, rock organ, acoustic bass.

6 1/2 " x 7 1/2" across ends x 6 1/2" wide across bellows, plus handles.   Supplied in soft case.

Originally bought for silent practise, including bellows technique, but I stopped play English concertina.    Cost £1000.

Bellows / finger combination action has to be very precise to avoid some note stuttering - bellows action a little stiff and does not completely replicate an actual concertina, so was not as helpful as I had hoped.    Have had lots of fun using different voices.     Roy stated that it could be plugged into a p.a. but I've not tried that.

£100 plus postage, preferable within UK.   Or collection from West Yorkshire, UK.    Donation will be made to Concertina.net
