G'day All,

Early this year I came across, on line, a concertina band in regional England; have not been able to track the site down again (went through *all* my history for the first few months of the year). They had beautiful music (the collection of different concertinas gave a very full, orchestral, sound). One of the members was 'D.J. Reverend' Something or other (if that helps with I.D.)
Can anyone help?

Cheers

Duncan

Thanks @Tiposx and @SqueezyC for those suggestions. Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier; I didn't get any notifications of your replies, and it's been busy here.

Unfortunately the mob I stumbled across is neither of those, so I'll have to keep looking.

Cheers

Notice the copyright - 2006 - so nearly 20 years ago. Truth is that this was a spoof, although quite a few folks thought it was genuine at the time. It was produced using Steinberg Cubase, various MIDI arrangements of well known pieces and a sound font created from my C/G Lachenal anglo, although 'Enrico' was me playing anglo. Some unreleased items are still on my hard disc so if there is any interest I will post a few ☺️

Interesting ...

Maybe 20 some years ago I became interested in the tune, “Enrico” (long story, unnecessary here). When I clicked on the link Wes provided above and looked at the list of selections, I noticed that the link for Enrico was purple while all the others were blue, suggesting that I had clicked on that link some time in the (distant) past.

@wes williams That's it, so Yay, and Aww :(

You had me fooled. I really wanted a concertina ensemble that sounded that good, Bass to Piccolo.
I mean, it's in the name; 'Concert-ina'. Sigh. There aren't many concertina players that I know of in
my area; a lot more 150kms away in Melbourne...
Oh well. Congrats, Wes, for a well done spoof.

When I first heard the New Camelot Concertina Band, I'd only been playing a couple of months at that point, and listening to it now, and knowing the 'trick', I'm hearing it more like an organ compared to your concertina playing on 'Enrico' :)
