Sunshine Hornpipe

( aka Shunster's )

This Irish Hornpipe was published in O'Neill's - 'Music of Ireland' in 1903.

I learned this tune from the playing of John Sheahan, of The Dubliners.

Played on Hammered Dulcimer, English Concertina, Fiddle & Bodhran.

Cheers,

Dick

Ooh another favourite of mine. A James Hill piece though, according to my sources.

Very very nice thank you.

Yes I'm sure, like most of the great Hornpipes, this one also originated in England.

Glad you liked it. 😀

Cheers,

Dick
