SIMON GABRIELOW Posted September 15 Posted September 15 This is in my vast collection of music books collected over decades now - [none are for concertinas specifically] - a lovely set of pieces [Michel Corrette] Suite in C major. with this 'Chaconne' at the end of the collection. It allows for some basic chords or harmonization here and there - and is very satisfying to play. Seen as Corrette wrote for many types of instrument including musettes, and other unusual reedy instruments - it seems to work quite nicely on concertina. In 1727 he published his first collections of sonatas for various instruments such as the flute, violin, brass, musette, and even hurdy-gurdy. 2
