Snow on the Mountain.

 

An Irish Jig composed by Mick Mulcahy.

Played on Hammered Dulcimer, English Concertina, Fiddle, Tenor Banjo, Whistle & Bodhran.

N.B. Everything is relative. ... This music often celebrates Folk traditions. The fact is, there are no mountains here in Co. Antrim, but in the local dialect when someone plans to go up a local hill they talk about - ''Going to the mountain''.

e.g. Slemish, associated with St. Patrick, at only 437 metres, is usually referred to as a mountain. 🙂
