Update 2 Aug 2025: After getting feed back from several players, I did change the default in the tool to the new style in version 2597_080225_0730.

I'm considering changing the default Anglo concertina tab style in my ABC Transcription Tools.

Here are two versions, one is the current version that uses L and R to indicate the side. The other, which is more like my box tab style, uses numbers to indicate left side and numbers in circles to indicate the right side.

The version with the circled numbers to me seems less busy and allows for larger tab.

Which do you prefer?

The letters used for the tab are completely configurable, this is just about what is used by default if you don't change them.

Current default:

anglo_original_2aug2025

Proposed new style:

anglo_proposed_2aug2025

I've added an option to the B/C box, C#/D box, and Anglo Concertina tab generators to automatically inject the custom CSS and Push/Draw markers to generate tab with colors.

You can find the new "Inject Push and Draw tab colors and CSS" option on the "Tablature Injection Settings" dialog.

This feature is in version

2599_080225_1330

or later.

The version number is displayed at the bottom left of the “Settings” dialog in the standard editor.

If your version starts with a number less than 2599, click the version number to do a manual update of the tool, then do a hard reload of the page.

I messed up the playback instruments on the CCE Dublin 2001 PDF tunebooks with Anglo Concertina tablature.

Here are the direct links to the replacement versions:
