SOLD 2024 Clover Anglo 30 button concertina with Hard Case

SOLD           2024 Clover Anglo C/G 30 button concertina with hard case.. This one is in "as new" condition. Details on this model can be seen on the Concertina Connection website. This is the cherry wood model, metal capped buttons with red bushings. I partially retired last year and thought I would enjoy this in my spare time. Total time on it is less than 2 hours so I thought it really should go to someone who would appreciates it. They sell for $2625 currently (that is what I paid) with a 16 week wait time. $2125 with shipping and insurance included to the continental US.

What layout is it? Wheatstone or Jeffries? This is an important piece of info for interested parties.

For posterity, I just wanted to chime in that I am the current owner of this concertina.  I did not purchase it from OP.  I remember seeing this post, but I was too late to take advantage of it.  When I opened my package and saw "480" I instantly remembered that I had seen this exact model.  Lo and behold, here it is!

How do you like it? I too was too late to purchase #480 but am planning to trade in my daughter’s Rochelle 2 for a Clover. It seems like the best, most affordable, available option at this time. I have been dragging my feet on placing the order due to the accordion reeds vs. concertina reeds.

I started with a Rochelle 2 and traded it back in for a Clover.  The Clover was lightyears nicer than the R2.  Mine had the Wheatstone layout, but now that I have an Edgley with a Jeffries layout, I would definitely want to go that way again.  You might see if you can get on Frank's list for one of his New Models, but I don't know the tariff situation with Canada if you're here in the US.  I'd try Marcus or the Irish Concertina Company.  ICC has some not-too-pricey options with concertina reeds, and they'll work with you on the tariffs.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I think I will go ahead and order the clover. It’s my daughter’s second instrument, she plays the harp. I think it will be good enough for now.
