Some strange concertinas for sale

As part of a 750-instrument auction sale in Belfast, about 12 concertinas (including some oddballs are for sale.

The loooong Lachenal is especially bizarre.

P.S. I posted in this forum, not the sale forum, because I'm not selling them, and they are mostly oddities to look at or discuss.

There are lots of interesting items in the auction catalogue, even if we exclude all the piano accordions.

I can't even imagine how playable this is. It must be quite long while compressed, and there are 9 folds on those bellows. You'd almost need 2 people to play it when extended.
