I live in a humid coastal New England town and I find that some of the higher notes of my 48 button EC get sticky during very humid weather.  I have seen single-use and rechargeable humidity control packets and electronic devices for instrument cases online.  Can anyone provide their experience with something that would work well in a small EC plastic Pelican case?  I would appreciate any advice and experience. I have been using my central AC but would rather not need it just to keep my EC happy.  Thank you.

I live in Maine.  Dew point today is 65 degrees.  I use Boveda packs but also dessicant packs when it is this humid.  In winter, I use the Boveda packs plus an instrument humidifier (D'Addario) when it is very cold and dry.

Thank you, David.  I'll try those.  70 oF dew point here in Bristol, RI today.

The metal bake-to-dry cases work well, and I suspect would work better in a sealed case.

In my machinist boxes, they need to be redone at least once a day if it's humid.

In a Pelican box, I go for about a week but it depends on how often I open it.  300 degrees F for about 1.5 hours dries out the silica gel.  (I use only one in a Pelican box.)
