Looking to buy an anglo, below I'll list out some qualities I'm hoping for:

-30 button C/G Anglo, preferably Wheatstone layout but I'm flexible.

- Trad reed or higher end hybrid

- Fast action and brighter tone

- Value for price

I'm okay with:

- Basic to moderate repairs

- Cosmetic problems (ugly)

- Paying the fair price

Doesn't have to be (but could be):

- Heirloom quality

- Advanced professional

- Vintage

- Perfect condition

I'm not interested in:

- Beginner Boxes

- McNeela, Trinity College, etc

- Massive professional repairs

I'm located in Northern Canada, and I expect shipping costs to be potentially high. It is extremely unlikely that we will be able to meet up (unless you're planning a trip to the Yukon anytime soon), so video would be very appreciated.

We all want a good deal, but I'm not begging for a bargain price. I have tried posting on some other platforms first, but was mostly confronted with "Wheatstone prices for Lachenal goods".

I've sent an email, but maybe a phone call is in order. I am chatting with a fella about a fixer upper sort of thing, but definitely exploring all options

I know someone who is selling a 1937 40 button Wheatstone with rosewood ends in the UK - renovated by Steve Dickinson in 2014 with new bellows and given a valuation of £4000. She’s just waiting for a 2025 valuation. I could put you in touch with her, if you’re interested..? It will probably appear in the FS postings on concertina at some time in the next month.

I believe this has been sorted, only waiting on the last steps to officially close the case!

Thanks to everyone for all of their fair offers and sound advice. To the curious, I seem to have landed a fair deal on a Bob Tedrow Zephyr, which I couldn't be happier about.

Lucky find!  I’ve always wanted to try a Zephyr since they are a little smaller and probably quicker. Please let us know how it is!
