SteveS Posted June 1 Posted June 1 (edited) I have the following concertinas for sale. All are located in Asti, Italy. If you are interested in any of these instruments, please send me a PM and I'll happily send more info & pics. Reason for sale - renovating a house and I now no longer have a workshop and no time to restore concertinas. 1. Lachenal New Model, 56 key treble, rosewood ends (€400) This has suffered water damage to one end and the veneer has lifted. Not in playing condition. No case Requires full restoration 2. Wheatstone Aeola, 56 key tenor-treble (€3000) Full working condition, tuned to concert pitch. New bellows at some point recently. No case. 3. Lachenal New Model, 44 key baritone (€3300) Good playing condition - tuned in Old Philharmonic pitch Believed to be from Oldham Concertina Band. Case 4. Jones (?) 56 key extended treble (€1200) This is a very rare or unique concertina. Serial number 2 stamped internally. Range of concertina extends down from a treble - not quite to a tenor-treble. I believe the range of this instrument is the same as a guitar but 1 octave higher. This instrument may have been a prototype for the Brothers Webb (late Victorian-era clowns and circus act) since the range and fretwork appear to be similar to a Webb concertina. Not in playing condition. Case Requires full restoration History World - Retro image, Webb Brothers - England's Greatest Musical Clowns 5. Wheatstone 22 key single action bass (€1500) Mid 19th century Not in playing condition. Tatty wooden case (unserviceable) Requires full restoration 6. Lachenal New Model, 56 key baritone (€3500) Good playing condition - tuned in Old Philharmonic pitch Believed to be from Oldham Concertina Band. Case 7. withdrawn from sale Edited June 16 by SteveS
