Haven't been actively recording/posting the last months because we have 34-acres of Nature Preserve to tend especially in the Spring.

But found some time yesterday to record a few tunes and will post when time allows. Today's offering is a wonderful Irish air used as the melody for a modern Irish song referencing Bonnie Prince Charlie's failed rebellion in Scotland. Below my performance is the is a link to the best version of the modern song I've ever heard, featuring some of the greatest singers of the Gaelic speaking world (Mary Black, Karan Casey, Karen Matheson, Iarla O'Lionaird, Allan MacDonald, & Mary Ann Kennedy)

Here's the modern song recorded as part of "The Highland Sessions" series.
