Richard Mellish Posted May 2 Posted May 2 (edited) Until I did a search just now I had never noticed the existence of the Events section of this website. So it seems worth a post here to inform anyone else who has never noticed that section. I suspect that applies to quite a few of us, as a search for events in the rest of this year from today brings up only one; the event that I was searching for when I found that section. Edited May 8 by Richard Mellish Corrected a typo.
DaveRo Posted May 2 Posted May 2 It's certainly well hidden. I can get to an Events page from this link https://www.concertina.net/forums/index.php?/events/ and upcoming events are shown at the bottom of the Home page https://www.concertina.net/forums/ but, on this mobile device, I don't see a link to Events anywhere. Maybe on a desktop/laptop.
Peter Laban Posted May 2 Posted May 2 'Upcoming events' appears right at the bottom of the mobile page. From there it's two clicks to the community calendar/events listing.
DaveRo Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Yes, on the 'Home' page, as I mentioned, and at the very bottom. I'd expect it to be a link from the top, which is an established layout convention. I suppose it depends how you arrive at the site. I'm usually following a link straight to a new post, but you might have the homepage bookmarked. Anyway, I now know it exists, which I didn't before. And I could link it to a calendar app if I felt inclined. Maybe you can filter events - eg UK only.
